Well, I have been to a ton of interviews, but nothing yet. I had a place respond to my resume just last Monday, and the ad I responded to said it was for a Customer Service Rep. I went to an interview and a job shadow to see if it was something I wanted to do. The position ended up being a door to door sales person where they go to sell at other businesses. They had actually walked into a business that I was interviewing with, and the manager went nuts on them. I wish I had got more information about this thing before what I did today. What a complete waste of my time.
I sure know how to pick those things. I have an option open, and it is with another grocery store. It would be a low position, but I should have a better chance at a promotion there. A family friend that works at the store says they asked about me since I mentioned I knew her, and she told them that I was great, so I am sure I could probably make something of that position.

I am still applying. The last few interviews I went to have been to positions that have not been what they were advertising.

Yeah, thank you. I went to the local unemployment office, and got some more listings. I am going to apply to one of them in person tomorrow, and stop in on another one on the way home.

Still applying to more openings, and I am getting interviews. I just can't get anything past the interview, unless it is for something that smells a little fishy. I am not sure when I am going to find a new job.

I am not sure when I am going to find a new job. I wouldn't want to work at a place that smells like fish either. I worked at a meat packing plant once.....that smelled pretty bad.

Well, I didn't mean it literally. lol The position just didn't like it was an upright position, in 2 different situations.

Like one of the positions, it ended up being a door to door sales job.

I have been rejected for 2 more positions in the past 2 days. This is getting annoying.

Yeah, thank you HD. I applied to some more positions, and I might be getting a part time at a movie theater.

if it's something to tie you over guess that works...I'll probably need two part times over the summer in order to pay all my bills.

Yeah, I got the offer for the job at the theater, and I am going to the orientation tomorrow. It is not what I wanted, but I need something now. I am going to keep looking, and maybe I can get a second part-time job too.
