okay, in terms of quality and games, who do you think is winning the "Console War"? I say the wii is. most of it's games are fun and innovative, and it's really nice to have as good downloads as you get on the VC. the 360 isn't far behind from what I've played of it, though.

Well, I love how original the Wii is, but for me, the PS3 is going to offer me the most enjoyment because of the titles that are schedule to be released for the system.

Right now the Wii has allot of steam. I right now I like the Wii more but I would like to see more high profile games come out soon. I see a good year ahead for the 360 now that Microsoft has developed a good japan strategy and is coming out with awesome looking games one after another this year. To me it looks like the 360 is doing everything that the PS2 did right, but the cost is still too high in order to keep it 1# next to the Wii in the future. It is my belief that the 360 will drop its price when the Wii starts to get near the 10 million mark, this will allow the 360 to win the long run race. This is a link to current units sold in the race. nexgenwars.com/

Yeah, I have seen that before, but the 360 has also been out longer than the Wii or the PS3.

I think the 360 right now, but the PS3 eventually when they actually get some good games out on it, and lower the price a little

Yeah, I have seen that before, but the 360 has also been out longer than the Wii or the PS3. I think if all console came out at the same time with the same games the Wii would win the short term battle, I would even make a bet that the Wii will pass the 360 later this year in sales but for the long run winner I will stick with the 360.

Ok, lets say I have a 70 inch expensive ass wide screen TV. No. I take that back, I have an entire WALL as a TV. Why do I have such a television? So that I dont have to go to a theater ever again for the rest of my life.
When I plug in, ANY regular dvd, its pixly. What will i do? I will buy a BLUE RAY.
Now, lets see, my kids want a new video game system. PS3 will do it all! And hey, check this out! Its CHEAP! (when compared to other blue ray players)
The way i see it, the PS3 is NOT a video game console. Its a blue ray player with the ability to play games. As a blue ray player it will sell VERY well.

Well, that is what they say about the PSP as well, it is not a video game player, but a multi media device. Yet, I only use my PSP to play video games.

Yes, but if i were to go out and buy one its main purpuses would be MP3s and MySpace. Yes, I would play games on it to, but to me its more of a handheld than a video game system. On the flip side, I am restoring a car, I will not buy another gaming console in the next two years....

like I said on the last board, 360 is a good system, no doubt. but I just like the wii more. especially when SSBB comes out, that'll be awesome.

I still love my PS2 as well, I would be keeping it around to play my PS2 games because, and I might be mistaken, but I don't think the old PS2 cards go into the PS3, so I would have to start the games that I have already been playing over again.

there's gotta be a way to port the memory cards...that wouldn't be right otherwise.

I am not sure. I know someone from another board was complaining that she could not get her save file for Jak X from her PS2 memory card to her PS3 to play the game on-line with all of the stuff she unlocked in the game.
