yeah of course they're metal. but here are some awesome metal bands I reccomend: Amon Amarth (melodic death metal / Viking metal) Kalmah (Melodic Death Metal) Lamb of God (thrash metal) Rammstein (industrial metal, don't mind their sexually nasty songs, they're just trying to shock people) Dark Tranquility (melodeath) Dragonforce (power metal) Carcass (death metal) also, check out the offical UFC soundtrack, it's got a shitload of good metal on it. |

I'm sick of all the sub-genres of sub-genres. It's all ROCK. Defining it as Metal is one thing, but when you start splitting up Metal into a million other groups, that's where I draw the line!

What is Clutch? Southern Metal? I wouldn't classify Clutch as "Metal." I would say they are pure Southern- Style Groove Rock with Punk influence. Although it's not fair to say they are Southern Rock because they are from Maryland....which is why I say "southern style." |
